In Belarus in February 2019 year launched the draft Program Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus cross-border cooperation in the framework of the European Neighborhood Instrument to 2014-2020 gg. ENI-LLB-1-117 «Green Agriculture without borders".
Project registration number in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus № 2/18/000938. Duration of the project is 2 of the year.
The project is implemented by the Local Sustainable Development Fund "Innovation for Regions" (Belarus), Foundation Director Marina Naydovych. The project is implemented in partnership at the country organizations: Dobelsky Center for Adult Education and Business Support (Latvia) and Panevezheskim Business Advisory Center (Lithuania). The amount of funding for the project by the European Union is 298463,11 euro (724071,50 Br).

Objectives of the project

The aim of the project is to create opportunities for employment in rural areas, совершенствование предпринимательского потенциала фермерских хозяйств и развитие сотрудничества в области органического сельхозпроизводства в трансграничном регионе Латвия-Литва-Беларусь.

To achieve these goals within the framework of the project on the territory of the small business incubator JSC "MAP ZAO" in Minsk region Facility Consulting Center "green" agriculture will be created. Through a series of seminars and cross-border activities, in particular international and regional forums and fairs, training, the project will involve at least 200 local farmers and interested in setting up businesses in rural areas residents of Minsk and Grodno regions, which will increase their capacity in entrepreneurship and organic agricultural production.

Thus the project will contribute to sustainable development and economic growth in the project areas, stimulate the development of the sector of "green" agriculture, efficient use of resources and environmentally friendly solutions through participation in production, processing, development and sale of new and innovative organic products.
