CROSS-BORDER EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE “GREEN” AGRICULTURE

Green agriculture without borders - project name, which has become an absolute reality in the present conditions. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, partners from Latvia and Lithuania could not come to Belarus, to visit farms in Belarus, who are engaged in the production of "green" products. And also the international fair of farmers from partner countries did not take place, which was planned to be held simultaneously with this visit. Therefore, a cross-border meeting for the exchange of experience of farmers from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus took place 10 December 2020 of the year. Communication took place in the online format.
In the first part of the forum, food producers from Belarus shared their experience: Khvaschevsky Igor, Elena and Olga, who are developing the private farm "Khvaschevsky", FH "Vermi Ecoproduct" (The Grodno region) and Grudinin Evgeny and Julia, manufacturers of beekeeping products LPH "Family apiary of the Grudinins", Medoslav Cooperative (Minsk Region).
In the second part of the online forum on 10 owners of farms and personal subsidiary plots through on-line presentations were able to present their experience in the production of various types of products on the principles of organic or "green" agricultural production, ask questions of interest and get acquainted with various areas of rural business of their neighbors in the project partner countries, exchange contacts.
