About the production and handling of organic products

CHAPTER 1
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1. Key terms, used in the Law, and their definitions
For the purposes hereof, the following terms and their definitions:
treatment of organic products – storage, transportation and sales of organic products;
organic products – vegetable products, animal and microbial origin, intended for human consumption or use as animal feed, raw food, intended for food production, seed, resulting from the production of organic products;
Parallel production – implementation of the simultaneous production of one type of organic products and products, non-organic, legal or natural person, including an individual entrepreneur;
manufacturer of organic products – legal or natural person, including an individual entrepreneur, carrying out the production of organic products, having a certificate of compliance with the National System of Conformity Confirmation of the Republic of Belarus, issued in respect of organic products and processes of production under the voluntary certification, and included in the register of organic producers;
organic production – to create work, processing of organic products in compliance with the requirements for organic production processes, established by this Act, technical normative legal acts, international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, as well as international legal acts, components of the right to the Eurasian Economic Union.
