The facade of Mikhail Zakharenko's agricultural estate in the village of Novy Dvor near Minsk immediately catches the eye. Wood sculpture, pretty shop, iron forging everywhere, full-length cow… First thought: “I wish I could bring a group of children here and see different curiosities with them”. When you enter the guest house and enter the courtyard, it gets even more interesting.

"We are in the cluster"

In a casual conversation with Mikhail, I find out details about the unusual farm under the original sign. The interlocutor welcomed us, brewed aromatic tea and told:

- I have been doing agritourism business for a long time, but then became interested in organic farming, having attended several exciting events, dedicated to green farming. Had seen, what cool products some entrepreneurs make, got the idea to grow different herbs, made high warm beds.

Mikhail invites to the courtyard after drinking tea, showcases its compact mint plantations, which eight types, bison and many other plants, which names I hear for the first time.

- I use ivan tea in my signature product. We make leaf tea of different colors with a special machine: green, yellow, black. We arrange it in different eco-packaging. We also dry mushrooms, fruits and vegetables, dry the leaves of the trees. I've been working on the "green theme" for eight years, - explains the owner of the estate.

Actually, the tourist brainchild of Mikhail and Lyudmila Zakharenko has been working for over ten years, but a married couple recently converted it to eco-format, renaming from "Lyudmila's" to "Ecoland". To attract visitors, Mikhail included a visit to the estate in the ecological tourist and excursion route, became a member of the cluster, established interaction with the owners of other estates.
