The local economy (TG): Michael, how many years have you been engaged in agricultural business? What products do you grow?
Mikhail Chistyakov (MCH): Our farm "Paradise Valley", which we created with my wife, already doing 14 years old.
WITH 2006 years engaged in the cultivation of such mushrooms as oyster mushrooms and shiitake. Started as lovers. It turned out, that growing oyster mushrooms is so simple, that almost any, who planned to harvest, will succeed. Following the recommendations and directions, using improvised materials, with 1 kg of mycelium (mycelium) can be assembled to 3 kg of mushrooms.
To do this, you will need a landing room, for growth, quality mycelium and substrate.

from shiitake.
These mushrooms are very healthy.. Oyster mushroom normalizes the body. Shiitake - prolong youth, remove toxic from the body

TG: We know, that not so long ago you started sheep farming?
MCH: Mushrooms are not my only passion. WITH 2017 years engaged in sheep breeding. Our small herd began with three sheep and one ram.. Sheep farming is not an easy task. Before you start breeding sheep you need to read a lot of specialized literature, chat with people, who are already doing this, determine the breed, prepare pasture.
We breed Romanovsk sheep. This breed has very good meat productivity., is a source of high quality sheepskin. Romanov breed has high fertility. Sheep gives birth in one pregnancy 2-3 lamb.
For their maintenance we do not use feed, we carry out a haircut manually with scissors and carry 2 once a year. From spring, we transfer to round-the-clock grazing, at the same time we prepare the field for grazing in advance. High moisture levels in pastures harm the sheep's digestive system. It is very important that the flooring is always made of dry, clean straw or hay..
